There is a new booklet for sale: "EPHEMERA - Transient structures of bamboo"
This 36-page booklet, written by the artist Antoon Versteegde, attempts to show in more than 130 colour pictures most of the transient structures of bamboo that he constructed since 1984. Versteegde gained ample experience with large-scale, interactive bamboo projects that have proven to be highly successful for realizing huge sculptures in a short time, working with groups of artists and volunteers.

BambooWorkshop
BambooWorkshop is the knowledge center for bamboo design and product development in The Netherlands. It forms the heart of a bamboo designers network aiming at innovative, environmentally friendly bamboo applications.
With years of experience, Antoon Versteegde leads BambooWorkshop to carry out bamboo innovation en education projects. The core of his approach lies in the interactive production of environmental bamboo furniture, working with groups of artists and designers. His self-developed construction technique is easily passed on to others and offers a thoughtful and technically alternative to conventional methods in hardwoods or synthetics.
